Candela Technology deducted end delivery application scenarios at World Robot Conference From August 20th to 25th, Candela (Shenzhen) Technology Innovation Co., Ltd. Empowering life with technology and realizing full automation of end scene

It was the first time that Candela Technology attended the World Robot Conference. The products included Sunny series unmanned logistics vehicles, Candle series building distribution robots and Star series hotel service robots. According to the responsible person on site, Candela Technology is committed to providing a complete solution for the end scenes and has achieved independent R&D and production from core component sensors to machine design and manufacturing, from algorithm scheduling to software platform.

“Apartments, office buildings, medium and high-end residential buildings, communities, universities, headquarters buildings, hotels, and industrial parks are the main scenarios for our products.” According to the person in charge, the Sunny series unmanned logistics vehicle is a multi-scene distribution vehicle, which can undertake tasks such as end delivery, unmanned sales and security inspection within 5km, and can travel freely in outdoors, indoors and semi-enclosed environment; in addition, it can be extended to new retail operations, logistics distribution, advertising operations and other value-added capabilities. The Candle series building robot is a distribution robot used indoors and semi-enclosed outdoors. It can automatically load and unload storage boxes of different sizes through scene customization, and independently realize 3D distribution between buildings through connection equipment such as gate machines and elevators. The Star series hotel service robots rely on the Candela cloud platform to provide item delivery, consultation, route guidance and other functions.

The on-site staff said that takeaways, express packages and other home delivery can be realized through Candela robot products. For property, scientific management can solve the internal and external interaction problems in the park; for merchants, it saves the labor and transportation costs and improves the transportation efficiency; for users, it improves the privacy and convenience. “Technology can bring convenience to life only when it is truly implemented. We hope to empower the end scenes with technology to achieve a win-win situation for property management, merchants and users.”

Strengthen Candela’s “hard power” driven by technology

Founded in 2016, Candela Technology is a science and technology enterprise driven by technological innovation. In 2017, it officially entered the field of autopilot, carried out research on navigation, algorithms, cloud, software/hardware, drive and control, and accumulated a complete set of automotive powertrain system technology. The company focuses on the intelligence of end distribution and on-site logistics and has launched a variety of autopilot logistics robots to realize “indoor + outdoor” cross-scenario application and provide users with full-process intelligent end-delivery services. The company has a number of core patents in software platforms, hardware, appearance, control and other aspects. At present, the company has nearly 300 employees, including more than 80 with master degree and above, and the ratio of R&D personnel exceeds 80%. In 2018, Candela Technology invested in Hunan Candela Technology Company in Changde City, as a manufacturing base for Candela robots. The base has a total area of 15,000m2, with an investment of 100 million yuan. The business covers mold manufacturing, injection molding, welding and assembly. At present, Candela Technology is one of the few autopilot companies in China with R&D, testing, manufacturing and other full-process capabilities.

The technology leader of Candela said that the current Candela robot products have been officially operated in several projects. Among them, Candle series and Sunny series products have been operated at Foshan Country Garden Headquarters, Shenzhen Qianhai Dream Factory and Shenzhen Bay Science and Technology Park. In July this year, Candela Technology and Huawei Songshan Lake Base confirmed the cooperation of 5G project, responsible for express delivery, new retail, catering, material transportation and other services in the park. In the future, Candela Technology will also establish dozens of benchmarking operations in South China, East China and North China to achieve full coverage of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Zone.
